Mr. Eyal Mor – Chief Executive Officer

Eyal Mor joined CheckLight in September 2008. Eyal has been in the High-tech industry for over 22 years, leading young companies into global markets. Prior to joining CheckLight, Eyal founded and managed Impactia Ltd, providing solutions for turning corporate outgoing emails into an intelligent marketing platform. Previous positions included managing various software companies (Blue Systems Inc, AdWise Ltd., WorkplaceIQ), following 10 years of management and marketing positions in TEKEM (later to be part of Ness Technologies Ltd.).
Eyal is a graduate of IDF's Mamram Computing Center and has a Bachelors degree in Statistics from the Tel-Aviv University.

Dr. Nirit Ulitzur – Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Before founding the company in 2001, Nirit spent over 15 years in academic research. She received BS.c (with distinction) and MS.c (with distinction) degrees from the Faculty of Biology at the Technion Institute, Haifa. After concluding her Ph.D thesis (with distinction) at the Department of Genetics in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, she performed post doctoral studies in the Department of Biochemistry at Stanford's Medical School.

Professor Shimon Ulitzur – Chief Scientist

CheckLight's scientific development team is led by Prof. (Emeritus) Shimon Ulitzur, who has researched luminous bacteria for over 35 years with more than 80 scientific publications on basic and applied aspects of bacterial bioluminescence. He co-founded two biotech companies, Biolume Ltd and Virolume Ltd, in the mid 80's and early 90's, respectively. Biolume focused on developing a rapid bioluminescence-based test for microbial pathogens detection in food, and Virolume was established to generate a novel and rapid test for detecting the AIDS virus. In addition, Dr Ulitzur served as the scientific advisor of numerous global biotech companies. While working with Microbics (later named, Azur Environmental) he developed the bioluminescence-based tests for water toxicity :Mutatox test and Microtox-chronic test.

Mr. Moti Blau - VP Business Development & Marketing

Moti has been engaged in international business for over 18 years, bringing in experience from a wide range of international marketing, sales, business development and entrepreneurial endeavors. Moti, a Member (MCIM) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), holds an MBA (with distinction) and a BA (first class honours) in business management, with focus on marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship, both from the University of Derby. He also holds an HND in Electronics Engineering from ORT college and is an IAF certificated instructor.

Mr. Nir Hertzman - VP Operations

Nir Hertzman has 15 years of experience in operations, seven during military service and eight more in industry. Prior to CheckLight, Nir worked in various industries in the medical, communication, military and semiconductor fields, including Lumenis and Tower Semiconductor.
He holds an MBA degree in Business Management from Haifa University, a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, and a practical engineer diploma from Bosmat, Israel's leading technical high school.
